Emergency Preparedness

Texas A&M University provides a wide range of resources, plans and communication methods in preparation for and response to emergency situations. That's because we take the safety of our students, faculty and staff as well as visitors and the campus community very seriously. With assistance from the Emergency Preparedness Program of the Environmental Health and Safety Department (EHSD) and the Office of Safety and Security, this site serves as a reference point for the university's emergency preparedness.

During emergency or severe weather situations, information regarding the status of the university will be communicated across a number of media including Texas A&M's Web site, local news outlets, and campus-wide email.
